I would like to thank the American Legion Post 179 for all of it's help in coordinating a successful surprise 40th Wedding Anniversary party for my parents! Jena Wilmers was very professional & detailed on how the venue works & answered any question I had very quickly. We were able to setup the main hall however we liked and the bartender Julie "Bubbles" came in early to make sure the bar was fully stocked and everything else was setup properly. The option of bringing in our own food & having use of a full kitchen was a bonus and the DJ was able to setup early in the day. We had access to the hall the night before and the day of the party which allowed us to get things done without feeling rushed. It's also conveniently located near the highway with ample parking. Our guests had nothing but smiles on their faces when they left and have made several comments about how great the party was, including our bartender Julie. Most importantly, my parents were overjoyed & very pleased with how their big night turned out. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reasonable priced venue(members get a discount as well). ~ Eric London
